Join us at Brown Motors of Petoskey Friday, October 31st for a special Halloween Blood Drive for Breast Cancer. We’ll be wrapping up Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donating blood with Versiti Blood Centers of Michigan and you can too! For every registered donation we receive, we’ll be donating $5 to a local Breast Cancer Non-Profit.

Tips for Donors:
- Make an Appointment: This will ensure you can get in and out of the donation facility quickly
- Eat the Right Foods: Iron-Rich Foods such as Beef, Fish, Poultry, and Beans are ideal; try to avoid fatty and fried foods
- Hydrate: Drin an extra 16 ounces of water (or other non-alcoholic drink) before your donation
- Have Breakfast: Eating a healthy breakfast before your donation and bringing a snack to enjoy shortly thereafter can help you have a successful donation experience
- Wear the Right Clothes: Wear a shirt with sleeves you can roll up above the elbows
